Industrial Transmissions Company Continues New President's Growth PlansDealers Transmission Exchange, a Leading Remanufacturer of Caterpillar, Allison, Komatsu, and Volvo Transmissions, Continues to Implement Its Growth Plans for New and Current Product Lines and Further Expansion Into Global MarketsROSELLE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 08/19/08 -- In August 2007, after 23 years with the company, newly appointed President David F. Horvath announced his plans for the continued growth of leading industrial transmission company Dealers Transmission Exchange. Since then, the company has been going from strength to strength in its endeavors to develop their product line offering expansion into global markets. "When I became President of Dealers Transmission Exchange, we occupied a healthy position with our existing marketplace. The company has built a solid reputation over the past 30 years as a reliable, trustworthy industrial transmission company with top-class methods of remanufacturing," says Horvath. "But it was time to leverage that existing reputation and further open up the business to other markets. On a global level, Dealers Transmission Exchange was reasonably competitive. However, in order to achieve the success that DTE has experienced in the local marketplace, new strategies for growth and improvement needed to be put in place," states Horvath. Under his direction (Horvath), Dealers Transmission Exchange has been focusing on four main areas of growth in these initial stages. The first of these four areas is a continued improvement in DTE's customer service levels. "In times of economic instability, customer service is paramount. Dealers Transmission Exchange has established a brand new Sales and Marketing division within the company to ensure that the customer is king, first time, every time," declares Horvath. The new Sales and Marketing division has also been charged with adding to their Caterpillar, Komatsu and Allison transmissions and other name brand industrial transmission ranges. "The new Sales and Marketing divisions' second responsibility is to bring the latest proven products to our consumers. They will steadily source and evaluate the best in industrial transmissions and other related products to add to our already extensive range," says Horvath. Also integral to DTE's growth strategy is expanding its heavy mining division. "Our 20 plus years of experience in the industrial mining sector, within our mining division, continues to be a positive growth area for our company. With capital investment in and acquisitions of more Komatsu and Caterpillar transmissions in the Haul Truck, Front End Loader, and Dozer applications our focus on mining is clear. We have also opened and established regional service centers and partnerships to give excelled service levels to mining customers with remote locations," states Horvath. The final aspect to the growth plan is DTE's global expansion. Currently the company is concentrating efforts on the global markets close to home. "At present DTE's expansion plans are taking shape in Mexico and Canada. These markets are the logical choice to start the global growth strategy as they are just over America's borders. We have also partnered with Tonan Corporation an Industrial Marine Transmissions manufacturer in Japan to service customer operations in the developing Pacific Rim. We do envision that very shortly DTE will be expanding into markets much further abroad," states Horvath. These four areas of customer service, product expansion, industry evolution, and global growth will ultimately make DTE a strong global competitor in industrial transmissions.
